 Fundraiser for Lindsay Clancy holdout juror flooded with donations after Michael P. Desronvil speaks out for first time A fundraiser for the lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial has been flooded with donations after he spoke out publicly for the first time to defend himself for holding his ground. Michael P. Desronvil, 48, explained Thursday that “based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presented, I thought it was enough proof that she (Clancy) knew exactly what she was doing” when she fatally strangled her three young children with exercise bands. The high-profile trial ended in a mistrial after Desronvil refused to side with the 11 other jurors to find Clancy not guilty of murder by reason of insanity.                       The acting Vice Chancellor,Obafemi Awolowo University,Prof. Anthony Elujoba and University Bursar,Mrs Aderronke Akeredolu are being quizzed at the Iyaganku officee of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC Ibadan,today 13th December,2016,in respect of an alleged case of illegal and corrupt diversion of N1.4 billion.According to the petition,Elujoba allegedly diverted the sum from the University's Fixed Assets and Endowment Fund without approval from the Federal Ministry and Governing Council of the University to pay some unapproved allowances from which he paid himself N7m {Seven Million Naira}.The VC and Bursar are still being interrogated.More photos below.
