 Rita Daniels Loses AGN Presidency To Abubakar Yakubu Abubakar Yakubu has emerged as the new president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) after narrowly defeating Rita Daniels in a closely contested election. The poll was held on Saturday during the guild’s annual general meeting in Benin City, Edo State. Yakubu secured 116 votes to beat Daniels, who polled 113 votes, while three votes were declared invalid. The veteran actor and administrator takes over from Emeka Rollas. His victory is historic, as he becomes the first AGN president from northern Nigeria since the guild’s official registration in 1998. Yakubu previously served as national secretary from 2019 to 2025 and has also held other positions including national vice president, national treasurer, and public relations officer. A graduate of Dramatic Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, the Kaduna-born actor brings over 25 years of experience in television, film, and stage productions to his new role. Image result for buhari gives corpers 10 cows for sallah          Nigeria’s President, Muhmmadu Buhari, who is currently celebrating Sallah in his hometown, Daura, Kastina State was paid a visit by Corp Members serving in the State.Addressing the corp members on behalf of President Buhari, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, charged corps members who visited to uphold the country’s unity, as he also assured them of government’s commitment to the unity of the country.According to the President, the NYSC scheme was the best reconciliatory scheme and would remain relevant, while disclosing that the NYSC scheme had over the years continued to pursue the purpose of integrating the country to newsmen, noting that diversity of cultures remained Nigeria’s greatest strength.Speaking on behalf of the corp members, Nnamdi John, commended the President for granting them audience, while promising that corps members would continue to promote the unity of the country through enlightenment and community development services.The corps were presented with 10 bags of rice,a cow and N250,000 cash for their Sallah celebration.One more photo below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
