 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. FILMMAKER, CHUKWUKA EMELIONWU AKA KASVID, DIES IN A FATAL MOTOR ROAD ACCIDENT.{PHOTOS]

Image may contain: 1 person, car and outdoor      A Nollywood filmmaker, Chukwuka Emelionwu, popularly known as Kasvid, has died.
Emelionwu, was reported to have been involved in a fatal accident along Oraukwu, on his way to his village in Anambra State on Wednesday.
Reports say he, however, came out of the accident alive, but was knocked down by a hit and run driver, while attempting to cross to the other side of the road.
Kasvid is famed for producing some of Nollywood biggest hit movies like Mr Ibu in London, Issakabba and Aki and Paw-Paw.
He is also the owner of the famous Kas-Vid Pictures.Some of his colleagues have taken to social media to pay glowing tributes to the filmmaker.One more photo below.
