 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. The teenage female student, who was arrested for possession of a pistol in other to kill her school teacher for telling her to cut her coloured hair in Cross River State has confessed that she also belongs to a cult group “Sky Queens Confraternity”.
She also confessed that the owner of the pistol is her “man-friend”, who’s married and a father of 6 kids.

EARLIER REPORT:

A secondary school student was caught in school with a local gun she allegedly planned to use in shooting her teacher.

 

The girl, a student of Government Secondary School in Ikot Ewa, Cross River State, was asked by a teacher to cut her coloured hair and she was allegedly angered by this.

 

Subsequently,  she arrived at school with a gun.
