WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY: ANAMBRA EDUCATION MINISTRY SALUTES THE TEACHERS WHO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Behind every child who discovers their potential, there is often a teacher who saw it first.

Today, I join the entire team at the Anambra State Ministry of Education to say THANK YOU to every teacher who shows up each day to teach, guide, inspire and shape the next generation.

To the teacher who stays back to help a struggling child, discovers a hidden talent, or refuses to give up on a difficult learner—this is for you!

To our teachers who continue to learn, adapt and embrace new technologies, you are preparing our children not just for today, but for a rapidly changing world.

As Commissioner for Education, I am proud to lead a team that recognises your commitment and sacrifices. We remain committed to supporting our teachers, strengthening their capacity and creating an environment where they can thrive.

Keep inspiring. Keep moulding. Keep believing.

The future may carry our children's names, but many of those names will be written into history because a teacher first believed in them.

Happy World Teachers’ Day to our incredible teachers!

Dr. Ekene Ogugua

Commissioner for Education

Anambra State
