 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. A MAN IN COURT FOR STEALING 20 PAIRS OF SHOES.

                                                                                       A 25YR OLD LABORER MR MUSA HARUNA TODAY APPEARED BEFORE AN OSHODI MAGISTRATE COURT IN LAGOS,CHARGED WITH STEALING OF 20 PAIRS OF SHOES.THE ACCUSED ON OCTOBER 4TH AT ABOUT 2AM BURGLED SHOP F 12 AT ARENA SHOPING PLAZA,BOLADE OSHODI LAGOS BELONGING TO MRS JOY IKE.HE CAME WITH PROFESSIONAL TOOLS AND THE SECURITY GUARD ATTACHED TO THE PLAZA SAW THE ACCUSED GOING OUT OF THE PLAZA WITH A GHANA MUST GO FULL WITH SHOES ON HIS HEAD.WHEN QUESTIONED HE CLAIMED TO BE AN ORPHAN AND NEEDED MONEY TO FEED.THE ACCUSED,PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO THE CHARGE.THE MAGISTRATE MR AKEEM FASHOLA,GRANTED THE ACCUSED 100,000 NAIRA BAIL WITH ONE SURETY IN THE SUM AND ADJOURNED THE CASE TILL OCTOBER 31 FOR MENTION.
