 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker.                                                                                        A 25YR OLD LABORER MR MUSA HARUNA TODAY APPEARED BEFORE AN OSHODI MAGISTRATE COURT IN LAGOS,CHARGED WITH STEALING OF 20 PAIRS OF SHOES.THE ACCUSED ON OCTOBER 4TH AT ABOUT 2AM BURGLED SHOP F 12 AT ARENA SHOPING PLAZA,BOLADE OSHODI LAGOS BELONGING TO MRS JOY IKE.HE CAME WITH PROFESSIONAL TOOLS AND THE SECURITY GUARD ATTACHED TO THE PLAZA SAW THE ACCUSED GOING OUT OF THE PLAZA WITH A GHANA MUST GO FULL WITH SHOES ON HIS HEAD.WHEN QUESTIONED HE CLAIMED TO BE AN ORPHAN AND NEEDED MONEY TO FEED.THE ACCUSED,PLEADED NOT GUILTY TO THE CHARGE.THE MAGISTRATE MR AKEEM FASHOLA,GRANTED THE ACCUSED 100,000 NAIRA BAIL WITH ONE SURETY IN THE SUM AND ADJOURNED THE CASE TILL OCTOBER 31 FOR MENTION.
