 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Committed: Jay Z said that he will carry through with his collaboration with Barney's and said that 100 per cent of sales from the collection will go toward his charitable foundation            Jay z has decided to go forward with his planned collaboration with an expensive new york  department store in spite of the recent spate of racial profiling episodes that occurred in barney's.jay z said he 'd agreed to move forward with next week's launch of his BNY SCC collection under the condition that he helps lead the store's review of it's policies.he further said the easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others hoping that someone addresses the problem ,i will not leave the out come to others.he also said that one of the stipulations for his continued support of the store was that his been given a leadership role and seat on a council specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling.i am in a unique posisition to use my voice to affect change to this disturbing issue.i will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend,review and revise policies and guide lines moving forward.i am choosing to take this ahead on.
