 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 18 YEARS LANRE OTUNOLA ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY.

3-person  robbery accused            Lanre Otunola has been arrested for joining two other suspected robbers who specialized in snatching vehicles at gun point.The suspect who was paraded alongside his gang at the Lagos state police command Ikeja on tuesday confessed that he joined the gang to raise money for the christmas celebration.Others paraded along with him were,Jamiu Agboola,20 years and Toibu Oyeyinka,24 years old.The police claimed the trio snatched two sport utility vehicle at gun point,barely 23 hours after their operation following a tip off from members of the public to the police and the police subsequently laid ambush for them at the spot where they were parked the vehicles at market street,oyingbonarea of lagos looking for buyers.What was recovered from them are,one Honda Acura MDX JEEP,one Toyota High Lander JEEP,two locally made pistols and four live cartridges.The two cars were stolen from Opera street,Coker Aguda Surulere lagos on 14th December,2013.
