 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BOXING DAY GHASTLY ACCIDENT AT SAGAMU ROAD.

a bus crash           Three persons,two male and one female were confirmed dead in a boxing day road Abeokuta,and it happened today.The accident occured about 5pm today.It involved a commercial bus and a Nissan urvan.The accident happened at Soowo town,near Kobape,in Obafemi Owode Local government area of Ogun state.The bus belonged to the Road Transport Employers Association,Nigeria,RTEAN.The vehicle was coming from Ibadan and it was going to Sango Ota and it decided to pass through Abeokuta,so as to aviod some grid lock on the road .The accident was caused by over speeding as the driver lost control when the tyre burst.The vehicle somesaulted and crossed the median.Apart from the three persons who died,eight other persons,made up of six male and two female were seriously injured.
