 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. Bruce Jenner 'to undergo surgery to flatten his Adam's Apple'... a procedure normally part of a sex change          64 year old Bruce Jenner,cancels schedules surgery to flatten his Adam's apple as he blames doctor's office for leaking the news of his procedure to the public and he is planning to take his surgery plans some where else.Bruce informed his entire family about the cancellations and they support him.Bruce met with the plastic surgeon on thursday for a consultation regardung the procedure.The operation reduces the size of the cartilage in the neck and is typically performed on patients in the initial stages of gender reassingment surgery.'' I just never liked my trachea''.He later clarified that his initial reason for seeing the surgeon was due to a large scar on his nose that hadn't healed after a cancerous growth was removed in september.He wanted to improve the appearance of the scar,and said while he was there he happened to inquire about reducing his Adam's apple.The surgery had been scheduled for early next year.This was apparently Bruce's second visit to the surgeon's office.
