 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. DAY TWO AND THE LAW MAKERS ARE STILL BARRED.

The Rivers Assemblymen on the road         The police in River State for the second day,barred the law makers of the Rivers State House of Assembly from entering the Assembly complex in Port H arcourt.A police officer told the law makers outside the Assembly complex that there are two factions in the House and that it will not allow any of the two groups to gain entrance untill it gets a directive from the inspector General of police,Mohammed Abubakar.when plastic chairs were brought for the lawmakers to sit outside the Assembly complex,the police refused to allow the law makers sit on the chairs.this infuriated the lawmakers who then proceeded to sit on the floor of the road ''moscow road'',leading into the Assembly.while sitting on the road,the Legislators sang solidarity and praise and worship  songs to God.
