 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. I'M IN PAIN,BUT I'M NOT SUFFERING-JET LI

Action star: Jet Li, shown in September in China, revealed last week on a Chinese talent show that he's being treated for an overactive thyroid         Jet Li reveals these on a Chinese talent show that his recent weight gain is due to suffering from an overactive thyroid but he is determined to fight the condition head on.He said his weight has fluctuated but he is taking it all in stride.Li joked about his weight gain and said ''i'm fat,i don't have the time to lose it,it's a fact''.He explained that exercise is not advised with the medication he is taking.An overactive thyroid,or hyperthyroidism,cause changes in a person's metabolism and heart rate,among other symptoms,but is generally treatable with medications.Li was diagnosed in 2010,he kept his condition under control with medication,but it came back by force.More photos below.                                                                              Kung fu hero: Li, shown in September in Qingdao, China, revealed that he's gained weight due to his overactive thyroid condition
