 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. IMOLE ABIODUN,A HOTEL MANAGER,INVOLVED IN KIDNAPPING.

                                                                  The police in Lagos have declared a hotel manager ,Imole Abiodun,wanted for his alleged involvement in the stealing and selling of a 2 years old baby in Ikotun area of Lagos state.Abiodun the manager of Francis Inn Hotel located at Olu Odunisi street,off Abiola Adeyemi street,Ikotun,ran away after the arrest of two women charged with human trafficking.Mrs Grace Onye,one of the women involved in the child trafficking confessed that the hotel manager who is on the run was also aware of the illegal act.she said she was introduced to Abiodun by Samuel who brought a stolen two year old baby to her in the night and collected N300,000.the son of the owner of the hotel Sadiq said Abiodun fled when he learnt that detectives from the SCID,Panti ,Yaba,Lagos visited the hotel to interrogate him over the matter.the detectives have intensified efforts to recover all the stolen babies allegedlly bought by Onye and sold to unidentified clients.
