 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. YINUA GANIYU,KILLED ALHAJI MUDA OYEBANJI,THROUGH RECKLESS DRIVING.

                                                                               Lagos state Director of Public Prosecution {DPP}has established a case of reckless and dangerous driving causing death against Yinusa Ganiyu a driver.today wenesday,at Surulere magistrate court showed that a prima facie case was established against him.the accused hit a bus from behind ,causing two passengers,including the driver of the bus and the deceased to sustained injuries.the injury sustained by one Alhaji muda Oyebanji 68,led to his death.the accused was not focused in his driving and that he lost control of the vehicle,causing the accident.the advice from the DPP stated that the accused should be prosecuted for reckless and dangerous driving and for causing death.the accused was arraigned on OCT 19,and his facing two count charge before the court.the offence committed contravened section 19 and 20 of the Road Traffic Act of Lagos state.Ganiyu pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties.the case was Adjourned to December 17 for mention.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
