DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. The four staff's arrested are Balogun Fatai,Ayo Fapohunda,Oyetunji Olabisi and Rahimi Kamilu of Ikosi,Isheri Local Council Development Area,LCDA,have been arrested for allegedly extorting money from motorist under the guise that they are traffic officers.In two days of their operation,the four suspects had extorted about N180,000 by finning motorist they arrested illegally.They met their water loo when they attempted to extort money from a motorist at Lagos toll gate.The motorist reported the matter at the task force office which led to the arrest of the suspected culprits.According to Tony Nanewodo,owner of mercedes Benz C-class 2013 model,was arrested at the toll gate for stopping to ease himself,but lamented that he was issued ticked for picking up a passenger on the road,an act he never committed.One of the suspect,Fatai,said they remit the money collected to the purse of the council and that the council employed the services of a consultant to help in collecting the money from motorists.
