ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE YULETIDE SECURITY: ENUGU POLICE OPERATIVES BUST ARMED ROBBERY AND ONE-CHANCE SYNDICATE, ARREST FIVE SUSPECTS, RECOVER IMITATION GUN, STOLEN TRICYCLES AND OTHER EXHIBITS Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad have arrested five armed robbery and one-chance criminal suspects in a series of coordinated operations and investigations conducted between 22nd November and 1st December 2025. The suspects are Ikechukwu Patrick (male, 19), Odoh David (male, 21), Izuchukwu Ogbodo (male, 37), Charles Ekenechukwu Egwuatu (male, 39), and Justina Dike (female, 37). Exhibits recovered from them include an imitation gun, four stolen tricycles, a scissors blade, multiple master keys, and several SIM cards. Patrick and Odoh were first arrested on 22nd November 2025 with the assistance of the Neighbourhood Watch Group. An imitation gun and a scissors blade were recovered from them. Chief Mrs Comfort Olisawunche Chike Uwajeh,was born in Sapele,Delta state then known as the midwestern region of Nigeria on January 9th 1934 to Obi Gabriel Onyemalechi Amatokwu and Obi {mrs} Elizabeth Onyekambuashie Amatokwu {kwentua}.Her father was the foreman with UAC {saw mill division{ in the 40s.She prompltly assumed a motherly role especialy as the first daughter and a second child amongst her late father's 27 children.She attended st Patrick's and St Theresa's Girls school,Sapele in the early 40s.Even while in elementary school,Mrs Uwajeh was already engaging in pretty trading,selling biscuits and matches to her peers and the proceeds she shared amongst her mother and step mothers.On her fathers retirement from UAC,the family relocated back to their home town,Ibusa,where she completed her secondary education at St Thomas secondary school in Ibusa.It was in Ibusa where she met and married her husband in 1949.They both relocated to Lagos and stayed married for over 30 years until his unfortunate and untimely call to glory in 1981.While in Lagos,her husband before his death proceeded to the United Kingdom in 1954 to complete his medical program at the Wellington and King's college Hospital.She joined her husband in the UK in 1957,while she enhanced her skills in fashion designing.The family returned in 1960 to Lagos where she commenced her business and became sole proprietor of C-Kay{Nig} Enterprises.Her first major contract was with the Nigerian Army in the 60s.She diversified into supplying of various stationeries and commodities to major hotels such as Ikoyi hotel,Bristol hotel,Federal palace hotel and Durbar hotel now called Golden Tulip hotel.After the sudden and untimely death of her husband in 1981,she single handedly raised her 7 children {5 boys and 2 girls} 27 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
