A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. a flooded street after a rain                                     This picture above is a flooded street in Abuja,after a heavy rainfall,in which a meteorological Agency {NIMET} said on saturday that the rain which fell on friday evening in the FCT and it's environmnt was not the beginning of rainny season.They explained that ''The sudden weather change occured over Abuja around 4pm is due to  rapid northward movement of the line of demarcation between the south westerly winds.The winds brought moisture from the Atlantic ocean and the dry north eastely wins from the Sahara Desert''.They further explained that this type of weather occasionally occurs in January when the atmosphere becomes unstable and there is enough moisture in the atmosphere.
