Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. The Igbo people are from the eastern part of Nigeria and they are mostly christians.There are many story part of the existence of the Igbo people,one of the part includes, that they originated from a tribe of Israel,before they were taken as slaves by an Arabian king and later they gained their freedom,moving from one place to another.Nigerian history only recorded the fact that these particular group had claimed they had their settlement in Congo before there was a war and they migrated to the eastern part of Nigeria Nri before spreading out to the other part of the country.Nigeria was Amalgamated in 1914 where all regions were fused together to make Nigeria one.These picture above proved that the Igbo's had their settlement before independence in the Niger Delta in 1930 and the proof is these picture,photographed by Edward Chadwick.
