 KADGIS To Introduce Land Agents Registration To Tackle Property Fraud The Kaduna State Geographic Information Service (KADGIS) has announced plans to introduce a registration system for land agents as part of efforts to improve accountability and reduce property-related fraud in the state. The Director-General of KADGIS, Dr Bashir Ibrahim, disclosed this on Wednesday in Kaduna during a town hall meeting on the 2026 Land Administration Reforms. Ibrahim explained that the proposed system would require every land agent operating in Kaduna State to obtain a unique and non-transferable agent code. According to him, the code would make it easier for KADGIS to identify the agents involved in land transactions and determine responsibility whenever disputes or fraudulent activities occur. “Every agent must obtain an agent code. JSS 1 STUDENT DIED AFTER BEING FLOGGED BY A CORPER IN OYO STATE.

        The corper is serving at Akingbile Oluana Grammer school,Moniya,Ibadan has been brought before Homicide section of state criminal investigation Department,Iyaganku,Ibadan as a suspect in the death of a Jss1 student,Ester Oyeleke.The corper gave six students two strokes of cane each on January 27,stating that the hand of their daughter is swollen after the two stroke of cane.From a swollen hand,the girl's whole body also started swwelling up,and she was taken to one Osoko Maternity Hospital where she was confirmed dead.The relative of the girl led a protest to the school and disrupted academic activities.When the case was reported at Moniya Division,it was immediately transfered to the state CID for investigations.The corper said '' i was at a meeting of youth corps members when i was called that we should go and pay the girl a visit in the hospital by the time we got to the hospital,one of the teachers came to me and said she learnt that the student was dead''.On January 1,i went to our coordinator at the local government council before going to the state council of the NYSC to report what happened.I was brought to the state CID by the coordinator''.Is a pity,i don't support flogging other peoples children,some of them are living dead looking for who to put into trouble.For sake of security,the female NYSC name was witheld.
