A PRIVATE JET OWNED BY NASCAR DRIVER GREG BIFFLE HAS CRASHED AT THE STATESVILLE AIRPORT IN NORTH CAROLINA. (PHOTO).

A  private jet owned by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle has crashed at the Statesville Airport in North Carolina.  Sadly, early reports indicate Greg and his wife Cristina Grossu Biffle, along with their children, were aboard and are possibly four of the five fatalities reported in this accident.  Greg and his wife recently helped victims of hurricane Helene utilizing their own personal helicopter to deliver food and satellite kits. Cristina is a successful realtor as well as a philanthropist alongside her husband.  Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.

33 MILLION LITERS OF PMS,RELEASED BY NNPC TO LAGOS.

NNPC           News reaching my desk is that NNPC,Nigerian National Petroleeum Corporation has released 33 million litres of petroleum from its strategic reserves to marketers,supply fuel to Lagos.Dr Omar Farouk Ibrahim,Acting group manager,group public Affairs Division of the corporation,says,'' While we intensify our our on going direct monitoring of fuel stations across Lagos and its environments,we are providing the extra volume of product to eliminate the noticeable queues arising from the induced scarcity''.
