 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. NIGERIAN COURTS,STARTS STRIKE ON WEDNESDAY.

                       The strike is meant to protest government's disregard of a court order that asked Federal  and state government to guarantee the autonomy of the Judiciary as contained in the Nigeria constitution.The Judiciary workers group,which is under their union,JUSUN,has now gained the support of the Sharia,Area and customary courts,Judges Association of Nigeria {SACCJAN},which on Sunday said it would join the nation wide warning strike which will start on Wenesday.The Union president Alhaji Zakariya Adamu at the opening of the Union's delegates conference in Jigawa say's,''A Federal High court in Abuja had passed a judgement in favour of JUSUN for the independence of the judiciary,and both states and the Federal governments are yet to implement it nor did they appeal the judgement,all members of the Union across the country is to close their courts from wednesday to friday,March 12 to 14,2014.
