 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. TERESA GIUDICE FACES TWO YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

Leaving court: Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice leave court after pleading guilty to fraud charges in court on Tuesday in Newark, New Jersey          RealHouse wives of New Jersey stars,Teresa Giudice and husband Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges on Tuesday.Teresa faces two years imprisonment while her husband faces four years imprisonment.They each pleaded guilty to several counts including bankruptcy fraud,conspiracy to commit mail fraud,wire fraud and failing to pay taxes.These took place at the Federal court house in Newark,New Jersey.Sentencing is set to take place on July 8.Their lawyer,Henry Klingman read a statement on Teresa's behalf after they left the court room saying ''Today i took responsibility for a series of mistakes i made several years ago,i am heart broken that this is affecting my family especially my four young daughters,who mean more to me than anything in the world''.More pictures below.                                                                                                         Court in the act: The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star seen here arriving at court sporting a full face of make-up and bouffant hairHeartbroken: The Giudices have four children.
