 LASG HOSTS Y2024 WOMEN'S ASSEMBLY TO EMPOWER, CELEBRATE WOMEN Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to advancing and empowering women, describing them as the pillars of communities, contributing in numerous ways as mothers, entrepreneurs, educators and leaders.  Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this in his keynote address at the 2024 Women's Assembly for Local Government and Local Council Development Areas organised by the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) at the De Blue Roof, LTV 8 complex, Agindigbi Ikeja.  The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Governor, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, described the Assembly as a critical platform for celebrating women’s contributions and tackling challenges affecting their well-being. TERESA GIUDICE FACES TWO YEARS IMPRISONMENT.

Leaving court: Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice leave court after pleading guilty to fraud charges in court on Tuesday in Newark, New Jersey          RealHouse wives of New Jersey stars,Teresa Giudice and husband Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges on Tuesday.Teresa faces two years imprisonment while her husband faces four years imprisonment.They each pleaded guilty to several counts including bankruptcy fraud,conspiracy to commit mail fraud,wire fraud and failing to pay taxes.These took place at the Federal court house in Newark,New Jersey.Sentencing is set to take place on July 8.Their lawyer,Henry Klingman read a statement on Teresa's behalf after they left the court room saying ''Today i took responsibility for a series of mistakes i made several years ago,i am heart broken that this is affecting my family especially my four young daughters,who mean more to me than anything in the world''.More pictures below.                                                                                                         Court in the act: The Real Housewives Of New Jersey star seen here arriving at court sporting a full face of make-up and bouffant hairHeartbroken: The Giudices have four children.
