 Rebels to withdraw from key DR Congo town 'after US request' The M23 rebel group has said it would withdraw from the eastern DR Congo town of Uvira at the request of the US administration, which had criticised seizure of the town last week as a threat to mediation efforts. The rebels entered Uvira, on the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met with US President Donald Trump in Washington and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept." A report by a United Nations group of experts in July said Rwanda exercised command and control over the rebels. UPDATE ON MISSING MALAYSIAN AIRPLANE.

              Aviation expert is were today trying to unravel the ending mystery of flight MH 370 after the debris thought to belong to the missing plane was spotted in the India ocean some 1,500 miles south west of Australia.Air search teams called off the hunt after a ten hour operation.Commercial pilot Robert Msrk.who is an Editor of Aviation international News Safety magazine said the direct line from the planes last known location to the new search area off the coast of Perth reduced the likelihood it was hijacked.If the debris  does turn out to be from the Malaysia Airlines flight,it adds strength to the theory that an on board emergency may have knocked out the crew,leaving it to fly on auto pilot until running out of fuel.More pictures below.                                                                                                                                                xThis Google Earth map shows just how remote the search area isMystery: Australian security expert Neil Fergus says if objects spotted by satellite off the coast of Perth are confirmed as belonging to MH370 then its location would rule out any possibility of a technical error.
