 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. VAN VICKER ISN'T A GOOD ACTOR-GENIEVE NNAJI.

                Genieve Nnaji was granted an interview by the Nigerian Tribune newspaper,she mentioned that Van Vicker isn't a good actor.Now Van Vicker is responding to her statement saying ''I read the article but i wasn't bothered about it because that was her opinion,and she is entitled to it.I never responded to it,and i don't think i will.Never the less,i don't have any ill feelings towards her.Now,whether her opinion has changed or is still the same,it doesn't make much of a difference to me,because i know i am doing what i am doing with a passion.I am enjoying it and i am making the best i can of it.Having said that,if i am given a job to do and she is involved,i would do the job.I wont say because she said this,i won't do the job.If i meet her at a function or on a movie shoot,i'll ask her,but  i won't do it through the media.Some of these things people write in the papers or on blogs are not even true.It's possible they twisted her words.They do it to me all the time,so it's possible they did that to her.But when i meet her personally,i will ask her if she did say that,and if she did,the conversation will continue,as to why she said it and how she said it''.Well my only contribution is these,if they say you don't know how to act,how can you twist it to sound better e.g''act you don't know it'',does it sound any different?.
