NAF RECEIVES FIVE NEW HELICOPTERS AS FG ACCELERATES AIRPOWER MODERNISATION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of five new helicopters as the Federal Government accelerates efforts to modernize Nigeria’s airpower capabilities and strengthen the Armed Forces’ capacity to respond effectively to contemporary security challenges. A statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame indicates that the platforms comprise three AW-109 Trekker B helicopters and two H-125 helicopters. The three AW-109s, which form part of 10 recently acquired by the Federal Government, were received in Lagos on 15 September 2026, with the remaining seven expected to be delivered before the end of 2026. 56 years old Alphonsus Ezie,a prophet at the celestial church of Christ Igando,was arrested by the police over an alleged false prophecy he made to his church members.He told his church members that he had a vision that they would travel abroad.The victims said they discovered it was all a lie.They claimed that Eze told them that God had opened their way to Netherlands and ask them to go and obtain international passport and a visa for the trip from his accoplice ,Samuel.More than 16 excited members believed him and went to meet Samuel in a hotel in Egbeda to pay for their traveling documents with faith.Samuel fled with ther money and members of the church realised Eze is also Samuel's accomplice.The angry members handed the prophet to the police.The police later arrested Samuel and the two suspects were charged to court with obtaining and stealing money under false pretence.This world na wa ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
