AKPABIO URGES SOUTH EAST TO SHUN ARMED STRUGGLE, EMBRACE PEACE FOR DEVELOPMENT. (PHOTO).

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has appealed to the people of the South East to sustain peace and prevent their youth from engaging in armed struggle against the Federal Government. Akpabio made the plea on Saturday during the funeral of Sir Albert Ikechukwu Nnamani, former Administrative Secretary of the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Area Development Commission (OMPADEC), held in Ikem, Enugu State. In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, Akpabio emphasised that development can only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere and urged Ndigbo to properly mentor the younger generation. “For Ndigbo, I want to plead with you to continue to maintain the peace and watch the youth of today. They don’t understand politics. They don’t understand development. You can only have development in an area of peace,” Akpabio said. COURT RULES IN FAVOUR OF PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S PARTY PDP.

                        Justice Adeniyi Ademola ruled in favour of the PDP against the lawmakers who defected to the main opposition,that they must vacate their seats.The 37 lawmakers who defected from President Jonathan's party  Peoples Democratic Party {PDP}to the opposition All Progressive congress {APC}in December leaving PDP without a majority in the lower house.The Justice said ''It is clear and unambigious that the defendants were sponsored by the PDP and won the election on its platform.There was no evidence of division within the PDP,which might have provided a case for them to keep their seats.The defendants are therefore not competent to vote or contribute to any proceeding the house of Representatives''.He also issued an injuction restraining them from altering or attempting to change the leadership of the house.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
