 President Tinubu to Present 2026 Budget on Friday, December 19 President Bola Tinubu is set to present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2025. Ahead of the presentation, a formal communication from the Presidency will be read on the floor of the House of Representatives on Thursday, December 18, notifying lawmakers and staff of the President’s appearance. The notification follows a letter dated December 17, 2025, signed by Adm. Essien Eyo Essien, Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana. The letter was also copied to the Deputy Clerk and heads of departments. According to the letter, President Tinubu, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will deliver the proposed 2026 budget at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Indonesian maid Erwiana Sulistyaningsih sits in a wheelchair at a hospital in Sragen after she was allegedly tortured in Hong Kong.           According to sources,Time magazine has included 23 years old Erwaina Sulistyanningsih,who suffered months of abuse and torture from her Hong Kong employer as one of the world's 100 most influential people,putting the spotling on the the city's treatment of it's migrant workers.It was because of her bravery,that was why she was listed in the magazine.According to the magazine,Erwiana is advocating for better laws to protect others who may share her fate,placing a spotlight on the plight of a vulnerable and often invisible population.
