 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. INTERNET DATING MURDERERS,STRIKES AGAIN.

             According to a national paper,a member of a five man gang of kidnappers,including a lady,lure men through a popular online dating website known as Badoo to a lonely spot where they are attacked and robbed of their valuables while the unfortunate one will be strangled.The suspects are Michael Eneji,his brother Emmanuel Eneji,Chukwu Chibueze,Gift Princess and Lekia Emmaden Isaac,were apprehended by the Rivers State police command days after the family of one of their latest victim Shola Olaseinde was reported missing by his family.He was later found in a decomposing state in a bush,close to a deserted pipeline area at Eleme,Port Harcourt,River state.Few meters away,was also the decomposed body of another victim,who was later identified as Mr Progress Benin Disi,a staff of Shell Oil serving company whose family had also reported missing since,March 7,2014.At the police station,the leader of the gang,27 year old Michael Eneji a footballer confessed to the crime and said that his gang didn't know that the late Shola Olaseinde would not be able to escape from the forest after dispossessing him of his valuables.
