 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. The engagement with the State Government focused on strengthening institutional collaboration in support of ongoing policing reforms anchored on professionalism, accountability, and intelligence-led operations.  The Inspector-General of Police reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to building a modern, service-driven institution that prioritizes public trust and operational efficiency. RAHMAN RALIAT,STABS CO-TENANT WITH A BROKEN BOTTLE.

•Jamiu after he was stabbed in the face by his neighbour                                                          According to sources,the trouble began between the two tenants Raliat Rahman and Sulaimon Jamiu,when Raliat allegedly went to collect the bathroom key from a co-tenant .Jamiu was not pleased that Raliat came to his apartment to ask for the key and accused her of monitoring his visitor when Jamiu challenged Raliat,an arguement ensued between them which the accused allegedly went for a bottle,broke it and stabbed the victim on his head,face and hand.Raliat fled after committing the alleged offence but after threedays she was arrested at a hideout and charged to court.The accused however pleaded not guilty to the charge and the presiding magistrate admitted her on bail with the sum of N50,000 with two sureties .She has been taken to Kirikiri prison Apapa pending when she fulfill the bail condition.The event took place at Prince Abolaji Avenue,Imolete,Alaga,Baba Adisa village,Ibeju Lekki,Lagos.                                                                  â€¢Jamiu after he was stabbed in the face by his neighbour

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
