 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. TASK FORCE ARRESTED 186 HOODLUMS IN OSHODI.

•Suspected hoodlums arrested at Oshodi early today                                                     According to a national news paper,suspected 186 hoodlums were arrested today when officials of the Lagos state environmental and special offences unit stormed Oshodi Lagos state.Those arrested include 33 underage children and a mother with her five children,The children,will be taken to the Lagos state correctional centre for rehabilitation.They raided the area between 12.30am and 1.30am.206 suspected hoodlums were initially arrested but after screening,20 people were set free.Task force chairman,Bayo Sulaiman,Chief Superintendent of police,said ''After we arrested some last last week,we decided to do a follow up because the exercise is continuous.We don't know where these people came from but we will continue to monitor Oshodi.Mothers take care of your children.They should not allow their children to get back to the street again''.
