 U.S prepares for potential increase in lone wolf terror attacks amid Iran conflict  Recent attacks on a synagogue in Michigan and a university in Virginia have raised concerns that the ongoing war in Iran could be inspiring “lone wolf” terror incidents in the United States, according to law enforcement veterans. Authorities are investigating a vehicular assault at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, which left several injured and the suspect dead, as well as a deadly shooting targeting an ROTC class at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, where students were able to subdue the attacker. Both suspects—Ayman Mohamad Ghazali in Michigan and Mohamed Bailor Jalloh in Virginia—were naturalized U.S. citizens from Lebanon and Sierra Leone, respectively. While officials have been cautious about publicly linking the attacks to the Iran conflict, experts say the events may reflect retaliation for American and Israeli military operations.
