 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. LASTMA OFFICIAL,SACKED OVER BRIBE.

        34 year old Mr Saliu,a LASTMA {Lagos State Transport Management Authority},has been dismissed and arraigned before a Lagos court for allegedly receiving N1,000 bribe from a motorist.In the Magistrate court,he was charged with conspiracy,impersonation and extorting money from motorists.He was sacked after several reports of his illegal collection of bribes from motorists.He was sacked after several reports of his illegal collection of bribes from motorists.After he was sacked,Matiu continued extorting money from motorists illegally.It was the case of a motorist Muritala Hakeem that exposed him after he collected N1,000 from him for committing an undisclosed traffic offence.He was arrested while wearing the LASTMA uniform.His matter was adjourned to July 16 2014.He is still in Kirikiri prison because he could not meet up with his N100,000 bail.
