 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. BOKO HARAM FREED 2 PRIEST & A NUN IN CAMEROON.

                   According to sources two Italian priests and a Canadian nun,kidnapped in northern Cameroon nearly two months ago by suspected Boko Haram gunmen were released today sunday,smiling and apparently in good health as they arrived in the capital.Giampaolo Marta and Gianantonio Allegri,missionaries from the Diocese of Vicenza in northeast Italy,and Canadian Gilberte Bissiere were seized against their will on the night of April 4 from the parish of Maroua,close to the the border with Nigeria.There has been no claim of responsibility for their kidnapping but Cameroon officials have pointed the finger at the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram.The captives were seen arriving at Yaounde airport today sunday in the company of heavily armed Cameroon special forces.
