 Soludo Issues 7-Day Ultimatum to Owners of Illegal Structures in Onitsha South Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to owners of illegal structures in Onitsha South Local Government Area to present valid building approvals and land ownership documents. The directive targets structures erected without authorization on government-owned land, including buildings constructed along waterways. According to the state government, such developments obstruct natural drainage channels, contributing to recurrent flooding and severe environmental degradation in the area. Governor Soludo emphasized that the exercise is part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to enforce urban planning regulations, protect the environment, and ensure public safety. He warned that any structure found to be illegal after the expiration of the seven-day grace period would face appropriate sanctions, including possible demolition. KENYA SECURITY,KILLS 5 SUSPECT OF SUNDAY MASSACRE.

           Kenya's Interiop ministry said today that ''security forces have shot dead five people suspected of involvement in attacks on the coast this weak that killed about 65 people''.After the attack,President Uhuru Kenyatta dismissed the group's claim and accused his political rivals of being behind the attacks,saying they wanted to stoke ethnic tensions.The opposition swiftly denied the charge.Another source claimed the five suspects were killed in a forested area during a combined operation involving the army and security forces.
