   LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT OFFICE OF THE SPECIAL ADVISER TO THE GOVERNOR (MEDIA AND PUBLICITY) PRESS RELEASE SANWO-OLU COOKS AT LAGOS FOOD FESTIVAL, SAYS EVENT HAS EMPOWERED LOT OF ENTREPRENEURS   The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday participated in the cooking and tasting of seafood rice with stir-fry spinach at this year’s Lagos Food Festival. Speaking at the event organised by the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, Governor Sanwo-Olu said the food festival is to make families come together, unwind and see food from different cultures to tell the Lagos food story. The 2025 edition of the Lagos Food Festival, themed 'Taste Beyond Borders', was held at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, where residents of the State were treated to good music as they witnessed and relished different delicacies. MOHAMMED ABACHA,DISCHARGED BY F.H.C,FOR N100.38 BILLION SCAM.

            According to a national news paper,a Federal capital territory High court today wednesday,discharged Mohammed Abacha,son of late former military Head of state,General Sani Abacha for allegefly receiving N100.38 Billion worth of stolen property.The office of the Attorney General of the Federal Government had filed a nine count charge against Abacha,but Justice Mamman Kolo of the FCT High court discharge Mohammed Abacha after Federal Government's counsel,Enwelum made an oral application asking the court to withdraw the criminal charges against the suspects.The Judge also granted the application for discontinuation of trial,which was not opposed by the defense counsel  ,Mr Abdullahi Haruna.At the resumed hearing of the case,the Federal Government counsel told the court that he was instructed by the Attorney General of the Federation  {AGF} to withdraw the charges.The prosecution thereafter filed a notice of discontinuation of the case
