 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. 29 PEOPLE DEAD IN TWO ATTACKS IN KENYAN COAST SATURDAY EVENING.

           According to Kenyan Interior Ministry,Gunmen killed at least 29 people in raids on two separate areas on the Kenyan Coast.The al Shabaab,staged an attack on saturday evening in the coastal area.Nine people lost their lives at the Hindi trading centre in Lamu country,near the scene of attacks in which 65 people were killed last month.Another 20 people were killed in another attack in the Gamba area of neighbouring Tana River county.Both counties are situated north of the port of Mombasa..
