Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside. Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area. Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are still unclear, and authorities are yet to issue a comprehensive official statement. There was a rap concert held yesterday in Guinea beach to mark the end of Ramadan,in Conakry.Hundreds of people gathered at the Donka hospital in the capital to visit the injured and identify the dead.Their were 34 bodiesin the morgue but eye witnesses saw 3 children dead bodies.The list of the injured keep growing ,the oldest among them can't be more than 20.There were also young girls among them.Witnesses said ''The event was attended by up to 10,000 people,mostly children and youths ,who came to see popular local rap groups Banlieuzart and Instinct Killers.More photos below.
