 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer.             One of Nigerian successful business man,Jimoh Ibrahim who is the Group managing Director of Energy group is advising christians nationwide not to work tomorrow thursday because he wants them to observe the day of Atonement.Jimoh Ibrahim further said that God commanded that his children should not work on the 10th day of the seventh month and that they should bring their souls before him for atonement.It is a special day,set aside to cleanse all saints and it is observed once a year.He even quoted Leviticus 16v29-31.Verse 29 says ''And this shall be a statue for ever unto you that in the seventh month,on the tenth day of the month,ye shall afflict your souls and do work at all,whether it be one of your own country or a stranger that sojourneth among you.You can read the remaing verses at your spare time.
