 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. POLICE COMMAND IN ONDO REACTS TO FALSE PUBLICATION ABOUT A LATE POLICEMAN BY VANGAURD NEWS PAPER.

            The Nigerian police in Ondo state,has drawn the attention of the general public to the publication of the sunday Vanguard,page 8 of 20th July,2014,captioned  ''Police officer dies in sex romp''.The police command said the entire story is false,baseless,unfounded,ill-motivated and complete imagination of the writer.The police Command said it was an Inspector of police who reported sick by himself at the station at llutitin and conveyed i a patrol vehicle to hospital and not in a woman's house as alleged,but died on the way to hospital which could happen to anybody including the writer.It was an Inspector that died and not an Assistant Superintendent of police.No woman was arrested in connection with the dead of any police officer in llutitun.This shows that the writer did not conduct proper investigation but based his story on figment of his imagination.ASP.Wole .F.Ogodo,Police Public Relations Officer,Ondo state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
