 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. 27 BOKO HARAM MILITANTS,KILLED IN CAMEROON BORDER CLASHES.

               According to a Cameroonian soldier,Cameroon army has killed 27 members of the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram near Fotokol town,north of Cameroon.The Boko Haram fighters crossed the border into Cameroon earlier this week,after attacking a military base and police station in Nigeria.A Cameroonian soldier in the region said the militants had been pushed back into Nigeria,with calm returning to the area today wednesday.The 27 Boko Haram members died between monday and tuesday clashes.
