 M23 says hundreds of Burundi soldiers captured in latest Congo offensive The Rwanda-backed M23 group has captured hundreds of Burundian soldiers during its latest offensive in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a rebel official said, as clashes continued despite a warning from the Trump administration. Last week M23 entered the strategic town of Uvira near the border with Burundi, less than a week after the presidents of Congo and Rwanda met in Washington with U.S. President Donald Trump and affirmed their commitment to a peace deal known as the Washington Accords. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Rwanda's actions in eastern Congo violated the Washington Accords and vowed to "take action to ensure promises made to the President are kept". Rwanda denies supporting M23 and has blamed Congolese and Burundian forces for the renewed fighting. A MAN ARRESTED TODAY AFTER BOMB THREAT ON QATAR AIRWAYS FLIGHT.

A passenger on board the aircraft tweeted this photo of a man being escorted away by police            Today i Manchester Airport,a suspected hoax bomber was arrested after an RAF fighter jet was scramble to intercept a flight from Qatar.There was a lot of concerns after Qatar Airways flight which was flying to Britain from Doha,and a Typhoon jet was sent from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire to accompany the plane to land.The Airbus A330 plane was surrounded by armed police officers and fire engines after it touched down and a passenger was escorted from the plane,in which almost the incident made almost all the passengers on board to be terrified.Police have confirmed that the man was arrested on suspicion of making a hoax bomb threat.More photos below.                                                                                                         The man, wearing a green t-shirt with silver lettering, was then pictured being led onto the tarmac by policeThe pilot alerted those on the ground to what was happening on board and a 'quick reaction' jet was scrambledThe fighter jet was pictured arching around the Qatar Airways Airbus after contacted authorities on the groundThe RAF  fighter jet circled the plane in the skies over Manchester after tracking it from the peak districtGreater Manchester Police, who arrested the man, said their response was 'comprehensive and proportionate'
