 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ECOWAS ADVISES WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO RE-OPEN THEIR BORDERS,END FLIGHT BANS AND APPLY CONTAINMENT MEASURES FOR EBOLA.

            According to the Economic Community of West African states said today thursday that West African states should re-open their borders and end flight bans put in place to halt the spread of Ebola.The ECOWAS countries and airlines will make their own decisions on flight bans and borders,but the view of the main regional body,expressed at a meeting of ECOWAS health Ministers in Ghana's capital,is likely to prove influetial.According to Ghana's President,who is the current Chairman said in the meeting that ''We must implement containment measures that will isolate or ostracise the affected countries.Excessive restrictions of travel and border closures will adversely affect the economies of the sub region''.
