 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.              Witnesses who fled said today friday that suspected Islamist Boko Haram fighters have abducted dozens of boys and men in a raid on a remote village in northeast Nigeria,loading them onto trucks and driving them off.Halima Adamu a witness who also fled after sunday's raid on Doron Baga,a sandy fishing viliage near the shores of Lake Chad,said militants clothed in military and police uniforms had burned several houses and that 97 people were unaccounted for.''They left no men or boys in the place,only young children,girls and women''.The people they kidnapped are they Ebola free?
