 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. NIGERIA AND OTHER EBOLA AFFECTED COUNTRIES BARRED FROM YOUTH OLYMPIC IN CHINA.

             According to the International Olympic committee and Chinese organisers said today friday that ''Athletes from affected areas will not compete in combat sports and also decided that no athletes from the region would compete in the pool.The decision was made with regards to ensuring the safety of all those participating in the games taking place in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing''.They did not reveal nationalities and names of the athletes affected by the decision.According to the youth Olympic website,there were a total of 25 people on the team lists of Ebola hit countries like Sierra Leone,Liberia,Guinea and Nigeria.It was not immediately clear how many of the 25 competitors had already arrived in Beijing nor why only one swimmer had been barred,given that there were three from the affected countries.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
