 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. BILL GATES PLEDGED $50 MILLION TO NIGERIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES HIT BY EBOLA VIRUS.

Bill and Melinda Gates              I am impressed how Bill Gates and his wife Melinda foundation pledge today wednesday that they will give $50 million to Nigeria and other countries hit by the deadly Ebola virus disease to help boost the fight against the Ebola outbreak.The foundation said in a statement that it would immediately release funds to United Nations agencies and international organisations involved in the outbreak in order to scale up emergency efforts in affected countries.The foundation also vowed to work with the public and private sector,to help speed up the development of therapies and vaccines to tackle the deadly virus.
