 Peter Obi lies like fish drinking water –Festus Keyamo Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has accused the 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of deliberately fabricating claims regarding a recent airport incident. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday night, July 30, Keyamo alleged that Obi lied about his experience at the airport to score political points. “That man was lying. He lies like a fish drinking water. He lies. He lies for fun,” Keyamo stated. The Minister noted that Obi had publicly complained of facing harassment from airport officials strictly due to his opposition status. CONGOLESE GOVERNMENT,ACCUSES CATHOLIC BISHOPS OF PLEASING FOREIGN AGENTS AFTER THEY SENT A LETTER TO THE VATICAN.

               Today thursday,the Democratic Republic of Congo's government accused Catholic Bishops of pandering to foreign influence after they issued an open letter opposing a possible constitutional revision to let President Joseph Kabila seek a third term.The letter was issued on sunday by the National Episcopal Conference of Congo during a visit to the Vatican.The letter states the current rules limiting leaders to two terms underpinned the country's stability by ensuring a balance of power.The opposition,which includes some former rebels,has suggested that an attempt to hold on to power by the president would lead to protests.President Kabila has not announced any plans to stand again,but a number of his supporters have made public appeals for him to change the constitution before his second term expires in 2016.Spokesman for the Congolese Government Lambert Mende said ''To judge by the place chosen by the Congolese Bishops to sign and release their letter,it is clear that once again the major actors in the history of our country wanted to please agents of foreign influence''.
