 PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE COMMENDS RESILIENCE OF NIGERIAN WORKERS President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio has congratulated Nigerian workers on International Labour Day 2026, praising their resilience, hard work, and patriotism despite economic challenges. In his May Day message, Akpabio described workers as the true heroes of Nigeria’s democracy and the engine of the economy. He said the 10th National Assembly remains committed to improving worker welfare through a living wage, safer workplaces, pension reforms, and job creation and pointed to the passage of the new National Minimum Wage Act and ongoing welfare packages as evidence of that commitment.  The Senate President also urged both public and private employers to prioritize worker welfare, stating that a motivated workforce is key to national productivity and prosperity pledging that the Senate will continue partnering with labour unions to ensure workers’ voices are heard in policymaking, vowing not to relent until ev...

HOW HAIR DYE BLINDED A WOMAN FOR 5 DAYS AND HOSPITALIZED FOR WEEKS.

Tina Littlewood was rushed to hospital after her head swelled up so much that she was unable to see At hospital, doctors compared Tina Littlewood's burns to those of fire victims                                                               41 year old Tina Littlewood thought she was going to die after an allergic reaction to her hair dye.Tina who works as a waitress said her head started to swell to the size of a big ball and should could not open her eyes for five days.She was rushed to the hospital covered in blisters,where doctors put her on a strong course of medication to ease the pain.She said ''It was so terrifying that at one point i thought this is it,it's over,i'm going to die because of a hair colour.It was agony,i thought i would be left blind,if not worse.Six weeks later,the swelling has gone down but my arms and legs are still scabby and itchy''.She was has now vowed to go grey and never colour her hair again.She said her trouble started when she decided to use a product called ''Clairol's Nice 'N' Easy'' hair dye before visiting her 24 year old Matt who is a soldier based in Norfolk.More photos below.                                                                                                                     Tina Littlewood suffered an allergic reaction after using Clairol's Nice 'N Easy hair dyeAfter doctors prescribed a cocktail of steroid injections,  antibiotics and anti-histamines, the swelling began to subside Five days after she first used the hair dye, Tina was finally able to open her eyes againBefore the allergic reaction: Tina has now sworn off hair dye for life
