 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. OSCAR PISTORIUS WAS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MURDER.

             Today thursday,Oscar Pristorius was found not guilty of the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.The Judge dismissed the most serious charges against him saying ''The state clearly has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder.Viewed in it's totality,the evidence failed to establish that the accused had the requisite intention to kill the deceased let alone with premeditation.Clearly he did not objectively foresee this as a possibility,that he would kill the person behind the door''.Oscar was charged with one count of murder and three fire arms charge over the killing of his girlfriend on Valentine day 2013.The judge also reviewed evidence by neighbours,who testified of hearing shots and screams saying ''Many had their facts wrong.The media had huge coverage of the case and that could have affected some of the witnesses.I am of the view the witnesses failed to separate what they knew personally or what they heard from other people or what they gathered from the media.The accused himself was evasive on the stand and his evidence showed a number of defences or apparent defences.The accused was a very poor witness''.More photos below.
