 GOVERNOR UBA APPRECIATES PRESIDENT TINUBU ON THE AWARD OF STRATEGIC CONTRACTS WORTH  ₦1.178 TRILLION IN KADUNA STATE   Kaduna State governor has extended appreciation to President Tinubu, and the Federal Executive Council for the approval and award of transformative infrastructure contracts that will indelibly reshape the economic and social landscape of the state.   The statement personally signed by the governor lists the projects as follows; the Kaduna Light Rail Project an ambitious undertaking spanning a Kilometers corridor from Rigachikun to Sabon Tasha, alongside a Kilometers line from Millennium City to Rigasa, forming a 50-kilometre metropolitan network with an estimated value of One Trillion Naira. Complementing this is the critical reconstruction of the Mando–Kaduna– Birnin Gwari road, a 122-kilometre artery valued at ₦178 billion. A COMPANY DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER HE STOLE 1,200 BAGS OF BUA SUGAR.

                                            27 year old Wasiu Bello who was entrusted with 1,200 bags of BUA sugar by his employers so that he can deliver it to his employer's customer Aliamen Abubakar,instead he ran away with the goods,sold the goods and abandoned the truck on the road.It was Abubakar the customer that informed the company that he has not received the goods.Wasiu Bello was at last arrested by the police while two other accomplice escaped.Bello Wasiu charged with conspiracy and stealing before a Lagos court sitting in Ejigbo Lagos.The presiding Magistrate,Mrs M.B Folani granted him bail in the sum of N5 million with two sureties.He will be remanded in prison custody  at Kirikiri,Lagos pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.The matter was adjourned till 10 November 2014.Na wahooo.
