 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A DOG KILLED A SIX MONTH OLD BABY YESTERDAY AT DAVENTRY,NORTHAMPTONSHIRE.

The six-month old girl was attacked at 10.30pm yesterday while being cared for by a relative, file picture             The picture above is the dog that killed a six month old baby girl yesterday.The baby was attacked by the dog when she was staying over at her female relative's home in Daventry,Northamptonshire.The police were called to the address around 10:30pm last nigh 3rd October 2014 after receiving reports that the infant was being savaged by a dog.Officers investigating the case are trying to determine whether the dog,which was later destroyed at the scene,was an illegal Pit Bull terrier.The dog dead body has been seized by the police to be determined by experts,to discover its genetic background.More photos below.                                  The baby girl was staying in a female relative's house when she was attacked by the killer dog
